The Strategy
This chapter introduces a two-phase approach that breaks down the journey of escaping the pyramid into manageable steps, starting with the individual and expanding outwards towards “possible” systemic change.
The essence of this approach is simple: I don’t know when the collective Human consciousness will evolve to a point where I along with my fellow beings will be able to experience a meaningful and purposeful life by default on this planet, and I can’t wait indefinitely for that time.
So, the least that I can do for myself and possibly for my immediate family is to mitigate the effects of this human idiocy and shield them from this rate race wage slavery life in whatever possible way I can with the resources and means existent in the society today.
Put in other words – before we can attempt to reshape society as a whole, we need to address our own personal economic independence. Only then can we fully engage with and contribute to any broader vision of a society that is free from wage slavery and its related idiocies.
So, let’s begin by describing the two phases in detail.
Phase I: Achieve Personal Financial Freedom
Summary of Phase I
Financial independence means breaking free from financial constraints to live authentically and pursue meaningful goals. By mastering personal finance, reducing debt, saving, investing wisely, and building diverse income streams, you can escape the rat race and achieve lasting stability.
With this personal freedom, you are no longer focused solely on individual survival, so your sense of purpose can expand. It also empowers you to contribute to societal change with clarity and purpose. If you care about the broader society, you could become agents of change, pushing for a system that values human dignity over profit, cooperation over competition, and sustainability over short-term gain.
We will develop a possible roadmap for this in the dedicated chapter on Phase I.
Phase II: Nudging The World Towards a Wage Slavery Free Existence
Summary of Phase II
Once personal financial freedom is achieved, the focus naturally shifts outward: from mastering your own life to influencing the systems that shape the lives of others. Phase II is about nudging society toward a world where human potential is not constrained by wage slavery, where cooperation, creativity, and shared prosperity can flourish. It is the phase where personal freedom intersects with collective responsibility.
The goal is not to impose ideals but to act as catalysts for change. By demonstrating alternative ways of living, creating value outside traditional employment structures, and fostering communities that prioritize human dignity over profit, you inspire others to question the status quo. Change begins with small experiments, local initiatives, and the gradual spread of ideas that reveal a more humane and sustainable way of organizing society.
This phase also requires patience, resilience, and awareness of human limitations. Most people are deeply conditioned by existing economic and social systems; many may resist, misunderstand, or even mock the vision of a world free from wage slavery. Yet, by remaining steadfast and modeling possibilities, you plant seeds of transformation that could eventually ripple outward, influencing norms, policies, and cultural expectations.
Phase II is, in essence, a long-term experiment in conscious evolution — both of yourself and of society. It builds on the foundation of personal financial freedom and channels it into thoughtful action that nudges the world toward a more liberated, purposeful, and collaborative future.
We will develop a possible roadmap for this in the dedicated chapter on Phase II.
Next Step: Tactics
In the next chapters, we’ll dig deeper into Phase I and Phase II, not as a rigid blueprint, but as part of a thought experiment — one I’m conducting for myself, and for anyone curious enough to follow along. We’ll explore the two sub-books (treated more like sandboxes) dedicated to these phases, pointing out concrete steps that individuals and communities could take to begin avoiding, escaping, or even dismantling the pyramid scheme.
You could think of them as a sandboxes:
- One for experimenting with the pursuit of personal financial freedom
- And the other for imagining a society free from wage slavery and the endless grind of the rat race — a space to test ideas, question assumptions, and see what might actually be possible.
Let’s go…
