n the US, most homes have at least one pet and the two most common are cats and dogs. Many cats and dogs require special care as they age and more and more cases of diabetes and other ongoing, lifelong illnesses are being observed in both dogs and cats. I know there are insurance options and care cards out there specifically for animals but do you think this should be covered in standard insurance? To me, it would make sense to include this.

I would love for healthcare to include coverage for pets. Having pets can be a costly thing for many people, and having healthcare that works for you and your family, but also a family pet, would go over very well imo. I do wonder if there is any healthcare plan out there that could support pets as well. If so, I’d grab that in a heartbeat.

Otherwise, we have to pay for pet health insurance and that can be an added price on top of everything else.
