I think the elderly deserve to have free healthcare, especially if they put in a long life of work and paid their dues to the country. It’s sad that I hear about elderly patients having to pay hundreds of dollars a month just to get medication. Shouldn’t it be their time to relax and see the world?
What do you think though? Should healthcare be free for the elderly? And if so, shouldn’t we all get free health care?

For those who have a retirement plan and things of that nature, it already is free. Both my parents no longer pay for insurance because it gets taken out of their retirement funds they get each month. For those that don’t have this though, I think there should be some kind of safety net to take care of minor issues but you can’t expect things that are very expensive to be free for everyone. The government doesn’t pay for this, we would be paying for it.
