Divorce is a scary thing, especially for kids having to deal with their own parents divorcing. It’s never easy, but, there are oftentimes where divorce results in one of the parents leaving. Has this ever happened to your family? If you lived through your parents divorce, did one of them ever leave?

My parents never did anything like that, but I knew other kids whose parents divorced, and it was often their dads were out of the picture after.

I have a friend whose parent’s divorced when he was 15. It was hard on him but he tried to hide it. His father was the one that left the house. He went and stayed at his brother’s. As far as we both knew at the time, he had been cheating on his mother and got caught. We didn’t find out until years later, he had gotten a woman pregnant and he had a half-sister.
