New Visitors or Members – how to use the Site features

We created ReclaimUrLife.com Community to enable everyday folks like you and me to have a Space (Platform and Community) to explore and brainstorm about Financial Independence. This Community is here to bring you together with equally passionate people ready for something new.

As a guest, you can browse and search for the information you need but you will need to create an account to post topics, respond to other members, track discussions, and fully take advantage of your community experience.

We want you to get these benefits from the Groups and Community on the Site

• We’ve got Discussions (Inside the various Community Forums) to organize our activity. Get exclusive content and conversations you can’t find anywhere else. Find a little inspiration, thought-provoking conversations, and expert perspective each and every day.
• Search to find what we’re looking for, and Save Post for you to quickly come back to your favorites.
• Ask questions, support one another and share common topics of interest in an inclusive and safe way.
• Make better, more well-informed decisions about the things that are most important to you.
• You can direct message. You can also post and have threaded conversations.
• Swap stories, experiences, and ideas (not necessarily advice) around our shared mission.
• Take part in Polls, Questions (coming in the future) to know the pulse of the community.

To make this a reality, we’re going to need your help. Every time you contribute a story, experience, or idea, you’re building a knowledge base every member of this community can tap to make better decisions.

And when you invite in as few as two new members, you’re adding rocket fuel to what this community can accomplish together. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Here are a few things to know as you get started

Make Things Friendlier -> Add Your Photo
Add a profile photo of your beautiful face. When we can’t be together in person, photos make a huge difference. Also, add your mini-bio or, better yet, a quick introduction for new people.
You can do this by choosing Your_User_Name -> Profile -> Profile Photo on your Profile Page.

Adjust Your Notifications
Adjust the notifications you receive over email at any time. To tweak them, click on your face in the upper right hand corner, choose Your_User_Name -> Account and click Email Preferences. Adjust accordingly.

Comment, Reply, and contribute to other people’s Posts and Questions
Nothing is lonelier than a post without comments or cheers, or a poll that is flailing in the wind.
Go ahead. Share your answer, say hey, or if you’re in a hurry, click the cheer button.

Use Forum Discussions
You’ll be prompted to add your posts to a specific Discussion under the different Forums. Go for it. They are here to help us keep things a bit organized. If you have recommendations for other Forums for us to add, let us know in the comments below.
